INURA Conference, Bucharest, September 2, 2016

self-organization

Within the activities of the EU Project MAZI: A DIY networking toolkit for location-based collective awareness, NetHood together with INURA Zurich Institut invited the INURA conference 2016 participants to the MAZI Workshop.

MAZI (meaning "together" in Greek) develops DIY networking technology that empowers citizens to promote collective awareness, self-organization and sustainable urban life, and to claim the right to the hybrid city, around four concrete pilot studies, of direct interest to the INURA network: In addition to sharing our experiences from these pilot studies, the goal of the MAZI workshop was to introduce DIY ICT technologies to participants in the INURA conference, and to explore ways of enabling urban activists to pursue their objectives with the support of such technologies.
